ASHEBORO MASSAGE & BODYWORK
Mona Brooks
With twelve years in the bodywork field, Mona has a variety of experiences in the Trager®, Orthopedic, and KMI practices. Her passion is to assist people with pain management and structural issues. The transformational work of KMI has given Mona a new and exciting perspective of anatomy and the fascial web. Her practice transcends traditional massage to bodywork that produces long-lasting change in the physical structure and emotional makeup of her clients.
Mona Brooks has been working in the medical field for over twenty-five years. Her experience as a registered nurse combined with her training in orthopedic massage has prepared her to meet the unique needs of her clients. The symbiosis of bodywork and nursing brings a dynamic understanding of how soft-tissue and structural disorders can be addressed with a manual restorative approach.
Mona has been Asheboro's orthopedic massage specialist since 1998. Her goal is to empower her clients with the understanding that massage is not for pleasure only, but rather a catalyst for healing, which can be a life-changing experience.
