ASHEBORO MASSAGE & BODYWORK
Testimonials
"Sylvia has been my massage therapist for the last 7 years. My husband and I moved to North Carolina from South Florida. Living there I had the same therapist for 12 years and was quite concerned that I would never find another one as qualified. Sylvia has been fantastic. She is very good at what she does. Her knowledge is very thorough and she knows exactly what to do to alleviate pain. When I first came to her I had a very painful sciatic nerve problem down the right side of my back. She knew what to do immediately and I walked out of there pain free. She's very professional and has a wonderful warm spirit. I'm so thankful I found her upon my arrival in North Carolina. She's truly the best."

"I first visited Sylvia after an accident I had four years ago. Unable to look behind me, unless I turned my complete torso, I was in misery. Just doing everyday chores was an effort. Bending over to take clothes from the dryer and folding them sometimes took forever because the pain in my lower back made it impossible to stand for more than 10 minutes at a time. After just one session with Sylvia I was able to stand for over three hours. Now I can go shopping by myself and do my own driving. I am able to turn my neck to look behind me when I back up my car. No more drivers needed!"

"For over 15 years I have been receiving massages on a regular basis. Since moving to Asheboro 7 years ago, Sylvia has been providing her therapy to me. I am dependent on her for relaxation as well as relief of musculoskeletal pain. Her services are so valued by me that I have referred friends and patients to her. We can all highly recommend her expertise!"

"I was diagnosed with Osteitis Pubis in February 2010. [Osteitis Pubis is the inflammation of the pubic symphysis; the point where the left and right pubic bones meet at the front of the pelvic girdle.] I went through the recommended rest as prescribed by my family doctor, without any improvement, and then visited an orthopedic doctor who gave me the option of an x-ray guided cortisone shot into the pubic joint. As painful as it sounded I decided to try it since it appeared to be the quickest way to relieve the pain. Although I was very hopeful about the injection, it didn't seem to make a lot of difference. During this time I was doing my own research online and discovered several people had found relief from massage and other similiar types of therapy. I was lucky enough to find Sylvia who is trained in several areas of body work and was able to help me tremendously. After the first session I could tell it was making a huge difference and Sylvia took her own time to research the condition to help me more. I can't recommend Sylvia enough if you're suffering from OP or any other type of pain. She really knows what she's doing and goes the extra mile to give you pain relief."
